Kitchen Operations
- Lead the daily preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality food items.
- Ensure all dishes meet consistent standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Manage stock control, including ordering, receiving, and minimizing waste.
- Support, mentor, and oversee kitchen team members, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
- Train staff on food preparation techniques, hygiene standards, and kitchen best practices.
- Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach.
- Contribute to menu planning with fresh, seasonal, and creative ideas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all food preparation areas meet Health and Safety standards (HACCP).
- Respond to customer feedback and adapt where necessary to meet expectations.
- Manage kitchen workflows to optimize productivity during busy periods.
