Matured in a refill bourbon cask, this 2017 vintage whisky from Annandale Distillery delivers a beautifully refined balance between spirit and cask influence. The refill maturation allows the distillery’s signature character to shine through, with delicate notes of cooked orchard fruits layered over a subtle backdrop of medicinal smoke and wet embers. Hints of herbal spice and sweet cakey richness add further depth, while the syrupy texture coats the palate, making for a wonderfully complex and satisfying dram.
Bottled at cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, this whisky remains a pure and authentic expression of its cask’s journey.
