Annandale has acquired 225L ex-Port barrels that previously matured Innis & Gunn’s Vanishing Point 07 Imperial Stout, an exceptional beer celebrated for its caramel, nutty, and mocha depth of flavor. These barrels also carry the delicate influence of a world-renowned secret Speyside distillery, enriching the cask’s complexity.
These casks will add extraordinary depth to Annandale’s peated or unpeated spirit, producing a dark, richly intense single malt with layers of bold fruit and intricate flavors. The combination of stout, port, and whisky influence results in a truly unique and multifaceted maturation profile.
Expect a beautifully layered whisky, featuring roasted malt notes, coffee, chocolate, and toffee, with a bittersweet undertone and a touch of nuttiness.
